- Night siege mode: mobs deal increased damage (1.4x) from time 13000-23000
- Heat system: player actions (breaking blocks, sprinting, shooting, taking damage) generate heat nodes that mobs pathfind toward
- Light attraction: mobs without a target drift toward torches and light sources
- Breach mechanics: mobs blocked from reaching players will progressively break through doors, glass, and wood. Block-breaking is telegraphed with crack animations and sound. Broken blocks drop their items.
- Obsidian and crying obsidian cannot be breached
- Per-mob, per-chunk, and global rate limits for safe survival performance
- Commands: /nightfall reload, /nightfall debug, /nightfall status (nightfall.admin)
