- Added Dandelions to most open spaces
- Move flower bushes to open areas, rather than under canopies
- Reworked soil blocks for most biomes
- Removed dithering present in 3.0+
- Added Alfizol, a counterpart of Podzol for deciduous forests
- Added Permafrost, a new soil block found under snowy biomes
- Removed Sandy Mycelium
- Added Grassy Clay Horizon, to make clay transitions in Swamps less jarring
- Reworked multiple aspects of tree placement
- Changed Oak foliage and trunk placers to better match fancy oak trees in base Minecraft
- Changed Birch foliage placers to have a unique shape
- Added root balls to trees that generate in worldgen
- Removed Azalea bushes from most biomes to keep their status as Lush Cave indicators. Flower Forest and Cherry Groves generate them still
- Major overhaul of Mushroom Fields generation
- Significant increase in Mycelium cover percentage
- Removed Sandy Mycelium in favor of Mycelial Web
- Mycelial Web block acts like Glow Lichen or Sculk but for Mycelium, generating at the edges of Mycelium patches
- Overhauled biome water colors
- Mushroom Fields now has the water color of Sulfur Caves for hotsprings
- Removed custom colors matching Bedrock Edition
- Biome water color now matches their ocean temperature band
- Adjusted water fog colors to match Bedrock Edition more
- Added Giant Bamboo trees for Bamboo Jungles
- Added Large Bushes across most temperate biomes
- Spread Bamboo across all types of jungle in small patches
- Add tall grass back to river biomes to prevent them from looking like lawns
- Rushes, Cattails, and Red Algae can be spread with Bone Meal
- Reduced post-worldgen leaf decay in many biomes
