Bamboo Understory

Looking into the kelp forests dominating Cold Ocean biomes, shared with Oceans, and to a lesser degree, Frozen Oceans.
Sparse Jungle
A clearing among the dense vegetation of the Sparse Jungle demonstrates that shorter forests are not often the easiest to traverse with an impenetrable wall of foliage on the other side.
Birch Clearing
In the open Birch Forest, a grassy clearing contains several flower patches, including a patch of nearby peony bushes.
Coral Meadow
A meadow of seagrass in the middle of a coral reef in a Warm Ocean.
Windswept Cliffs
The short, stout trees of a Windswept Forest hang onto the hardy cliffs of their wind-sculpted home, growing amidst grasses which can tolerate the weather.
Swamp Rushbed
In the middle of a large swamp, a murky pool is ringed by thriving rushbeds and stands of sugarcane, the wet environs supporting dense growth.
Old Growth Taiga
Towering trees shade the floor of an Old Growth pine taiga, their roots reaching deep into the soil to anchor their immense height.
Savanna Grasslands
The hot Savanna stretches as far as the eye can see, the only shade other than a copse of acacia trees near the river a few lone trees.
