Ever noticed how mobs riding other mobs just... stop working in newer versions of Minecraft? Since 1.19.4, mounts like Ghasts, Phantoms, or Vexes completely freeze when they have a rider, they don’t move, don’t attack, and just sit there until the rider dies.

This mod fixes that.

Mounts AI Fix restores proper behavior to any mob being used as a vehicle, so they can move and act normally again, just like they did before 1.19.4.

You can finally have working Creeper-on-Ghast, Skeleton-on-Silverfish, or Vex-on-Phantom combos again, without breaking their AI.

• Fixes the 1.19.4+ mount AI bug (MC-262182)

• Should work with any mob, including modded ones

• Server-side only clients don’t need the mod

• Safe to add or remove from existing worlds

This bug went unnoticed for a long time, but it really breaks mob creativity and custom setups. If you’ve ever tried making fun mob combinations and wondered why they just stood still, this mod is for you.
