More Passive Mobs
More Passive Spawns increases the amount of passive animals in your world by periodically spawning small groups of sheep, cows, pigs, and chickens in the Overworld. The datapack stays vanilla-friendly while making the world feel more alive and natural.
More Passive Spawns is a lightweight, vanilla-friendly Minecraft datapack designed to make your world feel more alive without breaking game balance or performance.
Every 10 minutes, the datapack automatically spawns 2–3 passive mobs (such as sheep, cows, pigs, and chickens) in the Overworld, above ground and near active players. This ensures that animals appear naturally where players are exploring, rather than in unloaded or hidden areas.
The spawning system is fully automated and uses randomization to keep gameplay fresh. Each spawn cycle selects random locations around players and randomly chooses which passive mobs will appear, creating a natural and varied animal population similar to vanilla world generation — just a little more active.
This datapack is ideal for:
Survival worlds where animals have gone extinct
Multiplayer servers that need renewable passive mobs
Builders who want a more lively overworld
Players who want more animals without mods
More Passive Spawns is designed to be:
✅ Vanilla-friendly (no custom items or blocks)
✅ Performance-safe (only 2–3 mobs every 10 minutes)
✅ Multiplayer-compatible
✅ Easy to install and remove
No commands, no configuration, and no mods required — just drop the datapack into your world and enjoy a more living, breathing Minecraft world.
