Mobmanity

Mobmanity is a Minecraft datapack that makes mobs behave more like players. They can spawn with a wide variety of vanilla items—and they know how to use them. From pickaxes and blocks to ender pearls and elytras, every mob encounter becomes unpredictable and intense. On top of that, mobs can gain one of six unique behavior patterns, making each fight feel dynamic and challenging.

All items mobs can spawn with:

  • Wind Charge (if version allows) – Thrown at player
  • Fire Charge – Thrown at player
  • Cobweb – Placed near/on player
  • TNT – Placed near/on player
  • Iron Pickaxe – Used to mine toward the player
  • Iron Axe – Used for melee attacks
  • Flint and Steel – Sets player on fire
  • Ender Pearl – Thrown away from or toward player
  • Splash Potion – Thrown at player or self
  • Goat Horn – Rallies nearby mobs to target the player
  • Lava Bucket – Placed near/on player
  • Water Bucket – Placed near/on player
  • Totem of Undying – Prevents death
  • Golden Apple – Consumed when health is low
  • Firework Rockets – Shot from crossbows
  • Cobblestone – Used to build up to the player
  • Elytra – Used to glide toward the player
  • Turtle Helmet – Just for fun :D

What mobs can ride on:

  • Horse
  • Zombie horse
  • Skeleton horse

Mob behavior types:

  • Athletic: The mob will be faster, run up cliffs easy (if version allows it), do less damage and jump over deep cliffs to get to the player.
  • Aggressor: The mob will do more damage, be a bit slower and jump at players that are near him.
  • Stalker: The mob will be a bit faster, be fully silent and do more damage on a backstab to players.
  • Leader: The mob will make mobs around him stronger depending on how many mobs are around him.
  • Tank: The mob will be slower, have a lot of armor and get less damage from far away (far bow shots, far trident shots, ...)
  • Frightened: The mob will run away from the player to regenerate health when on low health.
