MineCord

What it does

• Full two-way chat bridge between Minecraft and Discord.
• Auto-reconnect on launch and on disconnect (optional).
• Directional mute toggles (Minecraft → Discord / Discord → Minecraft).
• Hot-swap guilds and channels without redoing setup.
• Attachment previews with clickable file links.
• Direct messages in both directions.
• DM quick-reply and @mention highlights for your Minecraft name.
• Per-guild/channel prefixes with custom labels.

Quick start

1. Launch Minecraft with the mod.
2. Run /bridge setup, then paste your Discord user token when prompted (or use /bridge token set <token>).
3. Click a server ID, then a channel ID (or type them).
4. Use /bridge say <message> to send Discord messages.

Commands

• /bridge setup – starts setup (token → guild → channel).
• /bridge token set <token> – set your token without chat.
• /bridge token clear – clear saved token.
• /bridge reset – clears saved config and stops the bridge.
• /bridge say <message> – send a message to the selected Discord channel.
• /bridge reply <message> – reply to the last Discord DM you received.
• /bridge status – shows current status and toggles.
• /bridge autoconnect on|off – auto-join last channel on launch.
• /bridge mute mc2dc on|off – toggle Minecraft → Discord.
• /bridge mute dc2mc on|off – toggle Discord → Minecraft.
• /bridge guild <id> – switch server and list channels.
• /bridge channel <id> – switch channel immediately.
• /bridge format guild <id> <prefix> – set a guild prefix (supports {guild} {channel}).
• /bridge format channel <id> <prefix> – set a channel prefix (supports {guild} {channel}).
• /bridge format clear guild <id> – clear a guild prefix.
• /bridge format clear channel <id> – clear a channel prefix.
• /bridge dm <user> <message> – send a Discord DM by username or ID (tab-complete from friends/DMs).
• /bridge dmlisten <user> – prioritize receiving DMs from that user.
• /bridge dmrefresh – refresh DM autocomplete list.
• /bridge help – show command summary.

Notes

• Tokens and settings are saved to config/discordbridge.json.
• Normal chat is not sent to Discord; use /bridge say.
• Incoming Discord DMs show in Minecraft with the sender's user ID.
• Client-side only: works on any multiplayer server.
• DM receiving polls a small set of recent DM channels to avoid rate limits.
