McCombat

Note: As a module for the McCore ecosystem, McCombat requires McCore to function.

McCombat is the second major installment in the McCore suite, bringing a comprehensive RPG combat overhaul to Fabric. This module transforms vanilla fighting into a progression-based system where mastery of specific weapons unlocks devastating active abilities and powerful passive traits.

Gain experience by engaging in combat with mobs and players, leveling up your proficiencies to become a legendary warrior.

The Skills

• Swords: Master the Serrated Strikes ability for AoE bleeding damage. High levels unlock Counter Attack, providing a chance to reflect damage back at your attackers while blocking.
• Axes: Unleash the Skull Splitter for massive area-of-effect impact. Passives include Armor Impact to shred enemy durability and Greater Impact for extreme knockback.
• Bows: Become a sharpshooter with Skill Shot, scaling your arrow damage significantly with your level. Arrow Retrieval grants a chance to recover arrows from fallen foes.
• Crossbows: Similar to bows but tuned for the heavy hitter. Utilize Skill Shot for increased bolt and firework damage, along with specialized retrieval chances.
• Maces: Utilize the Mace Launch ability to send nearby enemies flying into the sky. Your hits generate a Shockwave Fling, damaging and knocking back all surrounding mobs.
• Tridents: Harness the power of the sea with the Drowning Effect, causing enemies hit by your trident to take periodic drowning damage even on land.
• Unarmed: Turn your fists into lethal weapons. Unlock Instant Break for utility and Strong Throw to turn snowballs, eggs, and wind charges into high-damage projectiles.
