Welcome to Mainstay SMP

A semi-vanilla Java survival server designed for players who enjoy technical gameplay, large-scale builds, and a strong community. Inspired by Hermitcraft and SciCraft, we preserve the vanilla experience while adding select quality-of-life improvements.

Mainstay SMP offers two distinct playstyles:

Long-Term World — unlimited map, rare resets, ideal for megabases and large community projects.
Short-Term Seasons — smaller bordered worlds with regular resets and faster progression.

Inventories are fully separate between the long-term world, short-term seasons, and creative/testing dimensions.

Long-Term & Short-Term Worlds

Main World

The core survival experience with an unlimited map and rare resets. Designed for long-term projects, automation, and technical gameplay.

Short-Term Seasons

Temporary worlds lasting typically 2+ weeks, depending on community decisions.

Separate Overworld, Nether, and End
Access via /warp second:overworld
Regular resets by community vote

Short-Term World Borders

Overworld: 3,000 × 3,000
Nether: 1,500 × 1,500
End: Unlimited

Inventories, ender chests, and player data are independent between worlds.

The server performs automatic scheduled restarts to maintain stability and performance.
