Randomizes critical hits and removes crit jumping, adds 2 new enchantments related to critical hits too + config for every feature
Lucky Strike replaces Minecraft’s jump based critical hits with a configurable luck driven alternative. Originally created for my modpack, it offers a new way to handle crits.
Features
Crit System Overhaul
Disables vanilla jump crits.
Adds a configurable chance based crit mechanic (default config: 10% chance for 150% additional damage).
Luck increases your crit chance.
New Enchantments (compatible with Enchantment Descriptions)
Swift Strike: Gain speed when landing a critical hit with a sword. Duration and level are configurable.
Impact Haste: Gain haste when landing a critical hit with tools. Duration and level are configurable.
Configuration
All values (crit chance, damage multiplier, enchantment duration/amplifier) are fully configurable via the mod’s config file (critmod-common.toml).
Compatibility
Server side required
Client is optional, without the client mod, enchantments will display as raw translation keys.
