Lighter Golden Apples
Crafting tweak to make golden apples, gaps for short, only require 4 gold ingots and an apple in a + pattern.
UTILITY :
Light Golden Apples is a commonly used crafting tweak with the purpose of making progression in SMPs or battle royale servers faster. This feature can be ported to your worlds and servers by creating a datapacks folder in your world's folder, and putting this file in it. You can also put it in another datapacks folder in .minecraft to make it available in the world creation settings.
FOR OLDER "NON SUPPORTED" VERSIONS :
It actually is supported, but you will have to make some changes. Unzip the file, go in data -> minecraft -> change "recipe" to "recipes". The typo change is the result of Mojang's decision to update datapacks in 1.20.5, slightly changing the folders names in the process. Once done, compress the files again (select data and pack.mcmeta, NOT the folder they are in, since a nested datapack will NOT work/show up). Then, you are good to go.
