Kaleidoscope Sculk

A sculk-themed expansion for Minecraft, built around the Warden and the deep dark ecosystem. It adds a complete chain of sculk materials, status effects, blocks and cooking systems, with deep integration into Kaleidoscope Cookery and Kaleidoscope Tavern.

Materials

A set of base materials harvested from the sculk ecosystem, used for cooking, brewing and crafting.

Ancient Bone Fragment, Sculk Fungus, Echo Seed, Sculk Branch, Sculk Dust, Sculk Dough, Sculk Flesh, Eerie Meat and Soul.

Ancient Bone Fragments can be thrown to deal damage and knock targets back.

Status Effects

Sculk Dash grants movement and attack speed while inside a sculk biome or the Deep Dark, and removes itself once you leave.

Sonic Wave lets you fire the Warden's sonic boom, dealing decreasing damage to everything along a straight line.

Echo prevents any hostile mob from targeting the bearer, but attacking will immediately break the effect.

Abyss grants bonus damage below y=0 that scales with depth, with a higher cap at higher amplifier levels.

Blocks

Deepslate Stove can be lit with flint and steel or a fire charge, is extinguished by rain or water, and emits light along with smoke and soul flame particles.

Deepslate Cake is a placeable cake with four bites. Eating restores health and grants Regeneration and Resistance, but costs a small amount of health each bite, with the final bite being lethal.

Echo Crop can only be planted on a Sculk Catalyst and yields Sheer Purity and Echo Seeds when mature.

Dish blocks such as Sculk Stew, Sculk Chicken Stew, Sculk Lamb Chop, Sculk Pork Ribs and Ancient City Style Sashimi can be eaten directly from the item or placed down and consumed bite by bite.

Food and Drinks

Soul Pancake, Sculk Fungus Soup, Cooked Warden Tendril Bowl, Ancient Brittle Bone Fragments, Boil Sheer Purity and Pork Ancient Bone Soup each come with their own buffs or drawbacks.

For drinks, Huadiao Wine, Honglan Wine and Sculk Brew can be upgraded through the Tavern brewing system.

Soul Sail System

The Soul Sail stores experience you pick up, in three tiers:

• Soul Sail: up to level 30
• Thousand Soul Sail: up to level 60
• Myriad Soul Sail: up to level 100

Holding a Soul Sail stores experience automatically. Right-click to withdraw one level, or Shift right-click to withdraw everything. Once full, combine it with 8 Souls to upgrade to the next tier while keeping the stored experience.

Tools

Erosion Kitchen Knife and Silent Kitchen Knife let you process sculk blocks and mobs.

Sculk Bone Sickle harvests crops and bushes in a 9 x 4 x 9 area at once.

Silent Kitchen Knife can fire a sonic wave with a keybind.

Dependencies

This mod requires Kaleidoscope Cookery and Kaleidoscope Tavern. Both must be installed, otherwise the game will not start.
