There is no need to get the enchantment as every item that has lost durability, can recover with xp as if it has Mending.

Configs Available:

Server

• It can be configured whether an item uses xp will consume the xp. Meaning that if an item gets repaired, the player will still get the xp, used or not.
• It can be configured how much durability every xp orb will recover.
