New Features
Spider Hunting Behavior
- Spiders and Cave Spiders now actively hunt small, non-flying animals
- Target prey includes: Rabbits, Chickens, Foxes, Cats, Ocelots, Sheep, Pigs, Frogs, and Armadillos
Venomous Bites
- Spider attacks now apply Poison I (5 seconds) to their prey
- Affects all hunted animals and Villagers
- Cave Spiders retain their existing poison mechanics
Prey Reactions
- Small animals will now flee when they spot a spider within range
- Different animals have different awareness levels:
- Rabbits: Most alert (14 block detection range)
- Foxes: Heightened awareness (12 block detection range)
- Other prey: Standard awareness (10 block detection range)
Special Cases
- Wolves: Too brave (or foolish) to run - they stand and fight!
- Bees: Unaffected (they fly, spiders can't catch them)
- Villagers: Now fear spiders and will flee from them (12 block range)
Illager Interactions
- Pillagers now attack Spiders and Cave Spiders on sight
