This data pack reworks Minecraft's progression, making tool and weapon crafting more complex, logical, and resource-intensive. The goal is to add depth to the early and mid-game without disrupting balance.
Crafting Changes:
The early game has been made more difficult:
Wooden and stone tools now require string, which is crafted from wool, making early tools and other items dependent on sheep hunting. !String crafting
Tools and weapons require more resources:
Recipes for all swords, axes, pickaxes, shovels, hoes, and spears have been reworked.
Crafting iron, diamond, and netherite tools now requires additional nugget, slightly slowing down the progression to new equipment levels.
Added a new endgame craft:
The Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template duplication crafting has been changed and made more difficult. This makes the transition to endgame gear more difficult and time-consuming. !Duplicated
