The May update introduces four new upgrades alongside the Happy Ghast Shop, a completely new system for unlocking Upgrade Snowballs.

Dried Ghast Shop

The Dried Ghast Shop offers three daily Upgrade Snowballs. The first two deals are always normal upgrades, while the third has a chance to become legendary.

The shop refreshes every day at 9:00. Legendary offers may require two items instead of one, and selected deals can appear with a 50% discount.

This update also introduces several new Upgrade Snowballs.

Damage Beam Upgrade

The Damage Beam Upgrade fires a continuous Guardian beam at a nearby enemy, dealing constant damage.

The Legendary Damage Beam Upgrade expands this effect by targeting all nearby enemies at once, allowing groups of enemies to be defeated much faster.

The Healing Beam Upgrade fires a beam at a nearby ally, slowly restoring their health over time.

The April update reworks Legendary Upgrades from the ground up, including their textures, names, crafting methods, and more. For the first time, Legendary Upgrades can now be fully crafted without any time restrictions. In addition, several new upgrades have been introduced.

Legendary Upgrade Rework

From now on, Legendary Upgrades are no longer time-limited event rewards. They can now be crafted at any time and become a permanent part of gameplay.

With the growing number of Legendary Upgrade variants, the previous system no longer scales well. Most players would not be able to access these upgrades in survival, as they were limited to short event periods.

Players who previously obtained these upgrades do not lose any value, as their trophies remain stored and continue to exist as exclusive souvenirs.

Changes:

• Updated textures with a new gradient design
• Item names now feature a smooth color gradient instead of separate colors

Dried Ghast Workbench

The Dried Ghast Workbench allows normal upgrades to be upgraded into their legendary versions. This is done by combining the base upgrade with an Amethyst Shard.

Handbook

Crafting recipes in the Handbook now clearly indicate whether they are made in a normal Crafting Table or in the Dried Ghast Workbench.

The Speed & Health Upgrades tab has been merged into a single Attribute Upgrades tab to make room for the Workbench explanation.

Upgrade Snowballs

This update also introduces three new Upgrade Snowballs.

Frostveil Siege Upgrade

The Frostveil Siege Upgrade freezes nearby enemies, preventing them from moving. A blue tint is applied to affected entities.

The Legendary Frostveil Siege Upgrade increases the radius in which the effect is applied.

Legendary Lightning Siege Upgrade

The Legendary Lightning Siege Upgrade retains the original effect, striking lightning at the impact location of arrows fired from the Happy Ghast. In addition, it also strikes nearby entities within a small radius.

A future major update will likely introduce a form of shop system, providing another way to obtain Upgrade Snowballs. More details will follow soon. Additional features are also planned as usual.
