A Looming Fortress
The Nether Fortress now features a progression from the surrounding bridges, into the gated hallways that surround the central keep, towering over the structure.
Open the Gates
Fortress Gates visibly bar your access to deeper parts of the Fortress until the appropriate Objectives have been taken out
Challenging New Foes
Destroy animated objectives like the Crystal Heart, Vile Root, and Blazing Cannon as you battle your way through the Fortress.
The Fortress Matrix
Enter the Central Keep and face the Fortress's final challenge. The central core manipulates magical bricks and other objects around itself in a bossfight that must be completed in one attempt.
Demonic Armors
As you explore the Fortress, face Wither Skeletons armed with Wartorn or Dominion equipment sets, which you can collect as loot throughout the structure.
A Bad Omen
Face the Fortress of War's greatest test by activating an Ominous Fortress, making all mobs and Objectives more dangerous, and increasing the loot from slaying the Fortress Matrix.
