Forsaken Souls Expansion
Expand your gear with the souls of the damned! Includes a full soul armor set, tools and craftable spawn eggs. Souls can be obtained by smelting soul sand/soil.
🛡️ The Forsaken Souls Expansion
Enhance your Minecraft journey with powerful equipment forged from ancient spirits! The Forsaken Souls Expansion introduces the Soul – a new core resource obtained by smelting Soul Sand or Soul Soil. Harvest these souls to forge durable tools, compress them into heavy Soul Ingots, or channel them into dark magic to craft functional Spawn Eggs and Monster Spawners!
The Soul Armor is perfectly balanced to bridge the gap between Diamond and Netherite gear, while providing unique utility to aid your survival.
⚒️ How it Works
-
🧪 Harvesting Spirits: Start by smelting Soul Sand or Soul Soil in a standard furnace to extract a Soul.
-
🥚 Spawn Eggs: Combine 8 Souls with a specific mob-drop ingredient in the crafting table to create its respective Spawn Egg.

-
Monster Spawners: Combine 1 Soul with 4 Netherite Ingots and 4 Chains to forge a functional Monster Spawner.

-
💡 Note on Recipe Previews: Due to technical engine limitations, looking up a recipe in the recipe book without owning the required Soul Ingots in your inventory will temporarily display the underlying vanilla placeholder block instead of the custom texture.

📝 Behind the Scenes
- This project is a modernized, standalone adaptation of a feature originally developed for a private Minecraft server between late 2024 and 2025 (for versions 1.21.3–1.21.4).
- Originally intended to debut as a modular piece inside the Armor & Tools Expansion Part 2, it has been fully overhauled and released independently for players who want to master the art of soul-crafting.
