Hi everyone! Welcome to Farmy. I’ve been incredibly frustrated with how normal vanilla farming feels on servers. It usually just means players rush to build massive redstone auto-farms that lag the server and flood the economy on day one.

I wanted to make farming fun again—like a real RPG. Farmy is my complete overhaul of the crop system! It introduces a fully interactive leveling pipeline where you actually get rewarded for active harvesting. I've added custom stats like Fortune and Wisdom, super cute companion pets that follow you around, crazy new gear, and tons of visual effects that make chopping down wheat feel incredibly satisfying.

📈 Dynamic Leveling & Progression

Players start at Farming Level 1 and unlock new crop types as they grind.

🐾 Companion Farming Pets

Never farm alone again! Summon fully customized companion pets that follow the player and trigger insane abilities:

• 🐔 The Chicken ("Eggsplosion"): Unleashes a massive firework spiral and drops Golden Eggs that grant instant XP bursts.
• 🐷 The Pig ("Truffle Volcano"): Digs furiously, causing a localized earthquake that erupts raw Emeralds and rare crops from the ground!

Built for large active SMP networks.

• Pre-Calculated Math: All exponential XP growth curves (Math.pow()) are statically compiled into RAM on startup. Zero lag during live harvesting.
• Chunk-Safe Iterators: Background sprinkler tasks strictly enforce isChunkLoaded() checks, guaranteeing zero force-loaded chunk memory leaks.
• Database Synced: Uses lightning-fast SQLite asynchronous saving to ensure player profiles (XP, levels, active pets) are never lost.

🛠️ Commands & Permissions

Crafting recipes are disabled by default. Admins must distribute gear via commands, kits, or server shops/crates.

• /farming - Opens the main Interactive GUI hub (Skills).
• /farming gear - Opens the Gear & Tools catalog GUI directly.
• /farming pets - Opens the Companion Pet selection GUI.
• /farming admin get <scythe|boots|fertilizer> - Admin command to spawn custom gear.
• /farming admin bypass - Toggles the crop level requirement check for admins.
• /farming admin setlevel <player> <amount> - Force set a player's Farming Level.
• /farming admin reload - Reloads config.yml and messages.yml into memory.

Permissions:

• farming.use - Basic access to /farming GUIs (Default: true)
• farming.admin - Access to all bypass, spawning tools, and reloads (Default: OP)

⚠️ Important BETA Notice

Farmy is currently in Public BETA. The core engine is 100% stable, safe, and highly optimized for production servers. However, please note:

1. Configuration: Currently, custom items, colors, and GUI names are carefully integrated into the code for maximum aesthetic quality. A fully flexible config.yml / messages.yml is planned for the next major release to allow complete translation and personalization.
2. Compatibility: Be mindful when granting the "Grand Scythe" (Area of Effect tool) on servers utilizing claim plugins like WorldGuard, as the AoE sweep currently prioritizes speed over claim-checks.
