Fable Mod MAJOR UPDATE 5.0.0 - Mounts of Mayhem
Update to Minecraft version 1.21.11
New Features
- Added Citrin, Nether, Titan & Nightmare Spears
- Added all possible effect spears
- Added Citrin, Nether, Titan & Nightmare Horse Armor
- Added Citrin, Nether, Titan & Nightmare Nautilus Armor
- Added crafting recipes for all horse armors
- Added crafting recipes for all nautilus armors
- Added Regeneration, Speed & Strength Gems
- Player heads dropped on death now have a decay timer and turn into Zombie Heads when it expires
- Added Golden Head
- Added a new Music Disc
- The Nightmare effect can now also affect horses and nautiluses, granting them unique abilities
- New gamerule "additional_warden_range" ([0–50] default = 10)
- New gamerule "drop_player_heads" ([true/false] default = true)
- New gamerule "player_head_decay_time" ([0 ... ∞] default singleplayer = 90 min, default multiplayer = 3 days) (value in minutes) (-1 = ∞)
Removed
- Old effect sword textures have been replaced with the new system (texture packs will no longer be compatible)
- The pact selection for the Nightmare Sword has been removed
Balancing
- The crafting recipe for Nightmare Fuel has been made significantly more expensive
- All Nightmare effect weapons now have their own crafting recipes
- The Warden can no longer be damaged by suffocation
- The Warden now only takes half damage from stalagmites and projectiles
- The Warden’s detection range is now increased by 10 blocks by default, but can be adjusted via the new gamerule
- The Mace now has an attack cooldown again, matching vanilla behavior
- The Speed Nightmare Sword now grants Speed II for 10 seconds (instead of Speed III for 5 seconds)
- The magic protection from the Purity effect of the Elixir has been reduced from 25% to 10%
Miscellaneous
- Effect sword & spear textures are now generated dynamically using an overlay system, removing the need for separate textures for each effect weapon
Bug Fixes
- Effect swords (and effect spears) with different effects but the same base type can now be combined in an anvil

- Implemented the new Copper Armor into the Fable armor trim system
Removed
- Removed the cleaned debug screen because vanilla cleaned up the debug screen itself
Balancing
- Reduced the count of golden apples the Twilight Crucible converts out of Nether-, Titan-, Nightmare- and Netherite-Armor
- Reduced the enchantability of Nightmare-Equipment
- Buffed Citrin Armor-Trims to from 10% Magic Protection to 20% Magic Protection
- Reduced the velocity of Ender Pearls when fired with a Titan Crossbow

QoL
- Darknes Pulsing is now automaticly turned OFF when starting the game
- If Sodium-Extra is installed the Render settings are now automatically set for a fair combat experience
Bugfixes
- Fixed a Bug that could crash the server when enchanting an item in the Orkus Altar
- Fixed an issue where a Netherite-Shield was considered as armor and recieved Vitality instead of Invulnerability in the Orkus Altar
