Enchantments EX is a small mod that adds upgraded versions of most Vanilla enchantments meant to enhance the late-game experience.

In order to obtain EX enchantments, you must have Molten Ink, acquired by brewing Nether Crystal Fragments (which are crafted with Nether Stars and Netherite Scrap/Ingots), and an enchanted Book, which will consume one Molten Ink per enchanted upgrade at a Stamping Table.

Features

• A set of enchantments corresponding to almost all existing enchantments (see below)
• A new block, the Stamping Table, allowing you to upgrade an Enchanted Book to enhance a stored enchantment or remove a curse

New Enchantment Functions

Enchantment	New Function
Aqua Affinity EX	Immune to Mining Fatigue. All nearby Elder Guardians get Glowing.
Bane of Arthropods EX	Immune to Poison. Cobwebs break on contact while holding weapon.
Blast Protection EX	Nearby Creepers gain Slowness and Glowing according to the enchantment level.
Breach EX	Deals extra damage per level to Ravagers, Ender Dragons, Withers, Iron Golems, and Wardens.
Channeling EX	No longer needs active thunderstorms to summon lightning.
Density EX	Smash attacks inflict Weakness, Slowness, and Nausea to its target, and Resistance to the attacker.
Depth Strider EX	Attack speed is increased per level underwater. Nearby dolphins gain Strength, Resistance, and Speed.
Efficiency EX	Extra damage against shulkers. Increased block interaction range by 1*level.
Feather Falling EX	Safe fall distance is increased by 5*level blocks.
Fire Aspect EX	Deals extra damage per level to all targets already on fire or targets that are naturally immune to fire.
Fire Protection EX	Extra level-based scaled damage protection when in the Nether.
Flame EX	Deals extra damage per level to all targets already on fire or targets that are naturally immune to fire.
Fortune EX	Overworld ores will additionally drop their block version when mined. Nether Gold Ore drops gold ingots, and Ancient Debris drops Netherite Ingots. Raised enchantment max level to 5.
Frost Walker EX	Reduces freezing damage and increases speed when walking on Ice per level. Boots besides Leather Boots can walk on Powdered Snow.
Impaling EX	Damage bonus now applies on Bedrock conditions (when the weather is raining or thundering, or when the target is in water). Also, adds air supply per hit.
Infinity EX	Now works on spectral and tipped arrows as well as firework rockets when applied to Crossbows via command.
Knockback EX	Knocks enemies upward. Higher levels will create higher upward velocity per hit.
Looting EX	Multiplies mob experience gain depending on level.
Loyalty EX	When the trident hits a block, teleports any item or experience orb within 3 blocks of where the trident landed to the player who threw it.
Luck of the Sea EX	Obtaining treasure from fishing will include additional loot, including rare, formerly non-renewable items.
Lunge EX	No longer consumes hunger and saturation when lunging (1.21.11+ only).
Lure EX	Any item or experience orb within 2 blocks of the fishing bobber is instantly retrieved by the player, and the fishing rod automatically returns when it catches fish.
Mending EX	The durability repair effectiveness is doubled.
Multishot EX	Maximum enchantment level is increased to 5, shoots 4 arrows per level, and halves the projectile spread per level. Also, can enchant Bows and is compatible with Piercing or Piercing EX.
Piercing EX	Compatible with Multishot and Multishot EX, can be applied to bows, and does extra damage when using firework rockets or targeting Skeletons.
Power EX	Has a chance scaling by level of applying Wither II to targets.
Projectile Protection EX	Reduces knockback, and its projectile protection now also extends to the Warden's Sonic Boom. Shulker bullets within a level-scaled range will be redirected to target its owner if the owner is alive, and will fall if the owner is dead.
Protection EX	Attackers have a scaled chance of being inflicted with Weakness. When this happens, one negative status effect is removed from the player.
Punch EX	Knocks enemies upward. Higher levels will create higher upward velocity per hit.
Quick Charge EX	Maximum enchantment level raised to 5. Also, lights arrows on fire upon firing.
Respiration EX	Any player with Dolphin's Grace, Water Breathing, or Conduit Power gains Regeneration per level.
Riptide EX	Can be used outside of water or rain.
Sharpness EX	Has a chance scaling by level of applying Wither II to targets.
Silk Touch EX	Compatible with Fortune/Fortune EX. Silk Touch properties are activated by mining a block while sneaking, and additionally enables dropping experience when mining blocks that normally drop XP.
Smite EX	Applies Weakness V to all undead mobs and Wardens, and Weakness I to all other targets. Has a (25% * level) chance of curing a hit Zombie Villager.
Soul Speed EX	Does not drain durability when walking or running on Soul Sand or Soul Soil.
Sweeping Edge EX	Additional damage dealt to all flying mobs. Nearby Phantoms and Vexes gain Wither according to level. If combined with Fire Aspect, also sets them on fire. Reduced air drag for elytras (26.2+ only).
Swift Sneak EX	Raised the maximum enchantment level to 5. Sneaking decreases Warden anger by level every second in a radius of level * 10 blocks.
Thorns EX	Increases the chance of activating per level, decreases less durability per use, and deals additional damage per level.
Unbreaking EX	When the item's durability decreases to 25% or lower, additional effects will be applied. Armor will grant Resistance, weapons will grant Strength, and tools will grant Haste. If the armor has Fire Protection, gains Fire Resistance. If the tool has Fortune, gains Luck.
Wind Burst EX	Performing an appropriate smash attack will now also grant Resistance and Strength. Additionally, reduces fall damage when held in hand.

Getting Started

To start your stamping adventure, you need three things: an Enchanted Book, a Stamping Table, and Molten Ink.

To obtain a Molten Ink, you must first craft Nether Crystal Fragments. There are two recipes that involve Netherite and Nether Stars that make this possible:

Next, the Nether Crystal Fragments must be brewed using a Brewing Stand into Molten Ink:

To craft the Stamping Table, you will need 4 planks, an iron ingot, and your choice of either paper, leather, carpet, or Rabbit Hide:

In the Stamping Table, you can finally insert your Enchanted Book and your Molten Ink. Picking one enchantment to upgrade consumes the Molten Ink and replaces that enchantment with its EX variant. Choose carefully!

Finally, you can then apply the Enchanted Book to your item using an Anvil. Overriding a vanilla enchantment with its EX version inherits the level of whichever of the enchantments was higher.

Q: What versions is this compatible with?

A: Fabric and NeoForge versions have active support for 1.21.1, 1.21.11, 26.1.X, and 26.2 (26.3 is currently Fabric only).

In future updates, expect the Fabric versions to be updated first as I am more familiar with Fabric than NeoForge.

Q: Does this require Fabric, NeoForge, or Forge?

A: The mod requires Fabric and NeoForge.

Q: Does this require installation on a server?

A: Yes, as it adds a new block, new items, and custom functionality. This is not client-only or server-only.

Q: Can I add Enchantments EX to a modpack?
