Enchantment Limiter
Enchant Limiter gives server owners full control over enchantments by allowing you to limit or completely ban specific enchants or levels. Restricted enchants cannot be obtained through enchanting tables, villagers, books, or any other in methods.
Enchant Limiter — Plugin Guide & Features
Enchant Limiter gives you complete control over enchantments on your server, letting you restrict or ban specific enchantments and levels to keep gameplay fair and balanced. Restricted enchantments cannot be obtained through enchanting tables, villagers, books, item pickups, or any other methods, and the plugin actively enforces these limits in real time. This plugin is perfect for SMPs, Minecraft events and larger servers!
Commands & Usage
/itemlimit add
Hold an enchanted book in your hand to add it to the restriction list.
Blocks the selected enchantment level and all levels above it (e.g. banning Protection III also bans Protection IV). If a player already has a restricted enchant, it is automatically downgraded to the highest allowed level (e.g. Protection III → Protection II). When a new restriction is added, all online players’ inventories are instantly scanned and corrected.
- /itemlimit remove
Hold an enchanted book in your hand to remove it from the restriction list. This allows players to once again obtain the enchantment and all higher levels naturally.
- /itemlimit manager
Opens a clean and intuitive GUI where you can:
View all restricted enchantments
Adjust restricted levels
Add or remove enchantments with ease
- /itemlimit reload
Manually rescans all online players’ inventories to ensure no restricted enchantments remain.
Automatic Enforcement
-
Enchant Limiter continuously protects your server by:
-
Scanning player inventories when they join the server.
-
Checking items when players pick them up.
-
Preventing bypasses through trading, books, or any other item source.
This ensures restricted enchantments are always handled correctly without manual intervention.
