There is no intention on iterating it or doing other things to it right now, but we'll see ^-^

No Quests?

No, there are no quests. I don’t plan on adding them for now, but you’ll never know.

Can I use my favourite texturepack? Will it work?

It will. There are all of the Optifine features here.
