📘 Getting Desired Enchantment Book Trade (Novice Librarian)

Follow these steps to obtain a specific enchanted book/trade from a novice librarian:

1. Place a sign on the front side of the lectern/workstation.

2. Type the enchantment name and level, separated by a space. (In latest version 1.21.10 level is set to default max) Example: eff 5, fortune 3, silk 1

3. Right-click the lectern/workstation to reroll the villager’s trade.

🧠 Notes

The librarian will offer a trade containing the enchantment and level written on the sign.

(except Soul Speed, Swift Sneak, and Wind Burst)

Examples:

eff 5 → Efficiency V

fort 3 → Fortune III

silk 1 → Silk Touch I

For names having space in between, use underscore (_) instead space

fire_aspect -> Fire Aspect II

blast_prot -> Blast Protection IV

Even for level 1 enchants, the number must be included. (Not needed after 1.21.10)

1.21.10 changes -

-- In default level is set to default max so no need to type number for enchant level Lower enchant level needs number to write

Examples: eff -> Efficiency V, eff 5 -> Efficiency V, eff 4-> Efficiency IV

--Added support for other villagers trade items. Type item name on sign and right click workstation. If item name has space use underscore _ in place of space

Examples: bread -> bread, white_wool -> White wool
