AFKDisplay marks inactive players with “\[AFK]” after a set time, helping servers identify idle players easily.
AFKDisplay is a simple and efficient Paper plugin for Minecraft 1.21 that helps server administrators and players easily identify inactive users. After a configurable period of inactivity (default 5 minutes), the plugin automatically adds an “[AFK]” tag before the player’s name in the tab list and broadcasts a message to the server. When the player moves again, the tag is removed, and the server is notified. This helps improve server communication by clearly showing which players are currently away without requiring manual commands or additional plugins. The timeout duration can be customized in the configuration file to suit different server needs.
