Does It Go Meow?
A mod that adds new mobs, plants, biomes, and a bunch of cool nature stuff to all three dimensions! (Also, it has cute creatures :D)
Announcement!
I've made the tough decision to stop using MCreator and halt development on all of my projects made with the software. It was a great software, but it's halting my learning in JavaScript. Don't worry, many of these features will be revived in the future, but this mod will be archived, and development stopped. Thank you for all the support.
What is this mod?:
Does It Go Meow? is a mod that adds new mobs, plants, biomes, and a bunch of cool nature stuff to all three dimensions! (Also, it has cute creatures :D)
Goal:
This mod is another continuation of my now-defunct and archived mod, Beyond the Horizon. For this mod, I want to create more mobs that Mojang (for some reason) won't add, along with other features for some extra spice.
Additions:
Here are the additions (and planned additions) as of version 3.1.4:
Spoiler
- The Wisp:
This mob is from Minecraft Dungeons and is a small decorative creature that resembles a soul. It floats around all over the Whispering Valley like a friendly (and cute) little Ghast. You can find Soul Stone in the Nether, and when you mine it, you get Soul Pebbles. With a Soul Pebble, you can tame the Wisp, and it'll follow you around. If you're near it, it gives you fire resistance.
- The Whispering Valley:
A very dangerous biome. It houses the Wisp, but also naturally spawns Ghasts and Vexes, so iron armor is recommended as a minimum. It also features large patches of netherrack, which can contain Soul Stone.
- The Moomoss:
This mob is based on an idea I found on Pinterest, and is a small (mostly) decorative mob that wanders around the Flower Forest, Sunflower Plains, Jungle, Lush Caves, and a new biome called the Lush Forest.
- The Lush Forest:
A new, mostly peaceful biome that heavily resembles the Lush Caves and has birch trees all around. It spawns sheep, axolotls, and the new Moomoss.
- Butterflies:
Small, decorative mobs that'll fly around and look pretty. Not much to them.
- The Temperate Forest:
A forest biome based on my home state of Massachusetts (and surrounding New England). It has a new wood type, Maple wood, with a rich, yellow color. (Subject to change.) (Coming soon) You can also harvest maple sap from the sides of trees and mix it with sugar to make syrup.
- Syrup (and pancakes):
A drink made of sap and sugar that can be consumed for speed 1 for 20 seconds, or combine it with bread to make pancakes, which will give you speed 1 for 30 seconds and saturation 1 for 15 seconds.
