DirtyAliasing
Simple Anti-Aliasing (FXAA/TAA) and CAS Upscaling solution for smoother gameplay.
DirtyAliasing
DirtyAliasing is a post-processing mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge) that introduces FXAA, TAA, and CAS algorithms to the game renderer.
Features
FXAA (Fast Approximate Anti-Aliasing) A lightweight algorithm that smooths jagged edges with negligible performance cost.
TAA (Temporal Anti-Aliasing) High-quality smoothing that uses data from previous frames to stabilize the image. It uses neighborhood clamping to reduce ghosting artifacts.
Dirty Upscale (Experimental) This mode uses the AMD FidelityFX CAS algorithm. Note: Currently, this feature does not work correctly as a standalone upscaler. It acts as a sharpening filter and does not change the internal render resolution. Use with caution.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge)
- Cloth Config API is required.
