Eggs will no longer attempt to hatch while in the DigiFarm using /realize to summon NPCS will now make them look for models instead of spawning as sptires Fixed an issue with NPC vendor prices not syncing to the client Fixed several issues with WereGarurumon's json Fixed other miscellaneous json issues Fixed an issue with the digimon spawner attempting to load in chunks for potential spawns Fixed an issue where any digimon with only one possible taming item would crash when examining them Fixed people being able to log into servers with outdated versions. Fixed and added some more of the old java models that I have been able to restore Fixed an issue where you were able to register and examine non-digimon with the D-Terminal, causing your game to crash

THIS IS A FIX FOR A RATHER BAD GENETICS BUG

==General==

  • Added some parameters to hopefully cutdown on the amount of rollback a player will exerience with player data pertaining to Digimobs.

  • Began converting old tutorial quests into the new format. This is an ongoing thing and will be followed up on for the next big update. If you have already completed them with the old system, you will probably get them again. This IS intentional and not a bug.

  • Added commands to spawn npc vendors and to edit their inventory. ==Entities==

  • Added a new spawn condition to digimon jsons called "layer" to designate some digimon as underground only. This should both prevent EVERY digimon from spawning underground, and make certain ones ONLY underground.

  • Reimplemented jogress evolution, now with json compatibility. Add any or multiple jogress forms through the digimon jsons! Jogress forms will now combine both digimon's stats. Any levels gained will be given to the two component digimon upon degenerating. *Note: Jogress's were only added for modeled digimon. If you want any sprites to jogress, you will need to add them yourself for the time being

  • Reimplemented NPCS. NPCs are no longer near-invicible, but it is not recommended to kill them either.

  • NPC roles now have a set maximum per village that can spawn in at a time. Killing travelers will not cause more vendors to spawn. They also take a realllly long time to respawn

  • NPCs come in three types: Vendors(sell regular stuff), Food Vendors(sell foods), Travelers(important for next update)

  • NPCS have a finite amount of stock, and can sell out. They will restock some of their goods, or new goods every 24000 ticks. This is checked when right clicking them as to avoid merchandise changing mid transaction

  • You can now sell stacks of items at a time

  • NPCS are entirely jsonable! You can change the limits per role, what they sell, and even what kind of digimon can be npcs.

  • A note on the last changelog. I initially said that I would be restoring the rest of the old thought-to-be-impossible models to 1.20. Turns out some of these are harder to fix than others. Because I don't see myself putting a lot of time into these, I will be adding them periodically through updates as I can fix them instead. Once all of them are back in, I'll then fix up any weird issues they had after converting(looking at you, Rabbitmon)

  • Changed registering digimon in the D-Terminal by sneak+right clicking it. Normal right click will now just open the screen only.

  • Digimobs seeds no longer require a hoe to acquire when breaking grass. ==Blocks==

  • Fixed the Power Router not saving whatever level you set it to after leaving the world

  • Added Digizoid chests! These can be crafted similar to normal chests with refined digizoid.

  • You can also find these randomly in the world with loot. Certain colors have more valuable loot than others! But beware...not all chests may contain treasures

  • Added the Digifarm block. Craft one of these and put your digimon in them for some passive exp. You can set different areas to be displayed to the players around you like a pasture block. Unlock more areas by doing various things(Hint: you can currently unlock a second area by completing all tutorial quests). ==Bugs==

  • Fixed some more json bugs

  • Fixed animations on power router

  • Fixed a positive number that should have been a negative number, causing both attack and defensive powers of digimon to not properly scale. No I still will not admit that this wasn't working as intended

  • Fixed some line of sight related issues during battle

  • Fixed the funky flying AI

  • Fixed certain digiwood blocks not being choppable with axes or burning

  • Fixed an exploit with bytes to go over the level cap.

  • Fixed some evolution requirements not showing

  • Fixed an issue with Digieggs not hatching with genetics.

  • Fixed the matcher to where it will properly breed digimon.

  • Fixed Recipe for Golden Acorn

  • Fixed some issues with mounting logic on Flying/Swimming mounts.

This is a bugfix. Are there some other things here? Perhaps...

  • Fixed the recipe to allow the D-Tector to revert into a Digivice
  • Added permission nodes to Digimobs commands so that they can be edited with plugins
  • Fixed Mode Changing not working
  • Thanks to the millions of reports on failure evolutions not triggering properly, these have now been corrected and could not have been done without you
  • Because people made it their favorite pastime trying to break the dummy NPC placeholders until they are fixed up, all NPCs have been nuked out of existence until the next update
  • Fixed an issue where you could not examine spirals
  • Fixed the annoying numerical console spam
  • Fixed several errors with JSON evolutions and special attacks. If you had one of these bugged Digimon prior to this update, you will likely need to degenerate them to fix them
  • Fixed an issue with refined obsidian digizoid not displaying a texture
  • Fixed an issue with Nestbound passive not properly syncing
  • Fixed the Digirod
  • Fixed up death evolutions and conditional evolutions. This means some Digimon's evolution requirements have been altered
  • Fixed an issue where baby Digimon would spawn with Botamon as their in-training form. V-Pet your babies if you had one of these prior to this update to fix it
  • Fixed up the gamerule for spawn delay to account for new spawning code. The default is now 100 ticks (5 seconds per spawn attempt)
  • Using /realize will now generate possible evolutions for Digimon
  • Fixed a multiplayer issue where players not initially in a loaded chunk could not see Digimon that had spawned
  • Fixed some naming issues with Digimon to make them play better with other mods that display information
  • Fixed an issue with the Power Router not working (again)
  • Fixed an issue with the stats screen that caused the EXP bar to run off the screen if you were over the EXP maximum
  • Added weight values to seeds and certain foods that didn't have them
  • All Digiseeds are now compostable
  • Due to popular demand, old models that could not be salvaged in 1.12 have been restored. Using new stubborn-based technology and a lack of self-respect, a Python script was created to convert them. All removed baby, in-training, rookie, and armor Digimon from older versions have been re-added. Champions, Ultimates, and Megas will be included in the next update. These models will only receive bug fixes as development continues on SD models, which will slowly replace them
  • Sprite-only Digimon will no longer generate in the D-Terminal or as possible unlockable evolutions unless "Enable Sprite Spawns" is enabled in the config
  • The D-Terminal will now properly display all Digimon and their information in Creative Mode, even if they have not been discovered

MAKE SURE YOU V-PET YOUR DIGIMON IF JUMPING IN FROM A 2.4.X VERSION! I said this in the last changelog too, but had people shocked when their digimon disappeared.

Beta#2 mostly consists of server stability along with a few other changes. Read the complete changelog details on the discord!
