📜 SERVER RULES & ETIQUETTE

Please read carefully. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse for breaking them.

🏗️ 1. GRIEFING & CONSTRUCTION

• No Base Destruction: Do not destroy, grief, or break any player-made structures.
• Anti-Build Perimeter: Please use the Anti-Build Perimeter to prevent people from griefing your base. If you aren't using it, you're partially at fault for letting yourself get griefed.
• Definition of Griefing: This includes setting fires, pouring lava/water (or any other harmful liquids/blocks/entities), TNT, or placing "obstructing" blocks (obsidian/bedrock) to trap players.
• The Natural Damage Rule: Do not intentionally lure Creepers, Withers, or monsters indoors to attack players once they log on. Any influence on the decision-making of these mobs counts as your responsibility; this includes spawning loads of boats or animals to kill players via entity cramming.
• Performance: No lag-machines or oversized auto-farms that tank the server TPS.
• Pet Protection: Any type of pet is not allowed to be killed, the only time you're allowed to kill a pet is if a player has actively commanded it to attack you, or is actively using it to kill you. If a pet is set in sitting mode (out-of-use) and you attack it, this is considered a rulebreak.
• Pet Baiting: Do not bait a player to use their pet just to use it as an excuse to kill it. If the pet is attacking you accidentally, killing it will put the fault both you and the owner, both sides must contemplate.
• Accidents and What To Do: If you've destroyed a build accidentally, you need to let know of the owner of the structure immediately and start repairs. If there is NO anti-build perimeter, and you are CHOOSING to not repair, you will keep the griefing infraction. If you fully rebuild it, or at least help rebuild it and earn the forgiveness of the original owner of the structure, your infraction from the action will be removed.

💰 2. THE WEEKEND STEALING RULE

Stealing is ONLY allowed on Saturdays and Sundays (Server Time). To keep it fair and prevent total loss, we follow the lockpick policy:

• Chests/Barrels: You may steal from them using a lockpick. A lockpick will not let you pick what you get out of the chest, it will steal randomly. The emptier a chest is, the harder it will be to lockpick it, every time you lockpick a chest
• The Bundle Rule: Please be aware that if someone by chance obtains your bundle with a lockpick, they have deserved the full bundle. Be careful of your bundles, you can use it to put all your valuables in the same slot, but it may lead to you losing them all at once too.
• Armor Stands: You may not steal from armor stands. Remember that we have a grieflogger and you will be warned or even directly banned if you do not return the items stolen.
• Item Frames/Lecterns: You cannot take items from item frames.
• Workstations: Do not steal from furnaces, or any other workstations not primarily used as containers.
• Beacons: Do not steal from an ore pile placed for a beacon, and do not steal the beacon itself. This includes
• Heads: Do not steal heads that are attached, such as Zombie, Skeleton, Creeper, Ender Dragon heads, and the rest.
• The Gravestone Exception: Gravestones are strictly off-limits. Never break or rob a player's grave, this will end in a near instant ban if you do not return the items immediately.

⚔️ 3. FIGHTING & PVP

• Anti-Pvp Perimeter: If you don't want people fighting you or each other in your bases or houses, please craft and place an Anti-Pvp Perimeter. If any exploits are found to get around this mechanic, please report them in, keeping quiet about these exploits will result in warns or a ban.
• Reduced Toxicity: Don't be a "sore winner" or a "sore loser." Keep the trash talking out, be respectful and accept your defeat/victory quietly, being toxic in chat may result in warns or mutes.
• No Bullying: If a player doesn't know how to PvP, or is new to the server, or is trying to get their stuff back to leave the area, please don't kill them. Feel free to fight them if they attack you, but spam-killing players without their consent is considered bullying and you may receive warns for it. Feel free to defend yourself though.
• Bounties: You are allowed to set public bounties (e.g., "5 Diamonds for Player X's death"). Feel free to get creative.
• Combat Logging: It is advised that you are aware that COMBAT LOGGING INSTANTLY KILLS YOU. If you get killed for this reason, it's completely your own fault as there is loads of indication around your screen screaming at you that you need to be cautious.
• Trapping: Traps are allowed whether you bring a player in or set it up prematurely, however, do NOT build traps where there are non-natural blocks. (example: roads, bridges, farms, pathways, and any other obvious territory areas). The only time a trap is allowed inside a base is if it moves ITSELF above the base (please remember that griefing is still not allowed, even if your traps cause it)

🤝 4. TRADING & SCAMMING

• Fair Trade: If you agree to a deal, you must follow through. Taking payment and then blocking/killing the player is a scam and is prohibited.
• Trap Trading: Luring someone to a "shop" or any trade just to drop them into a pit or kill them is not allowed.
• Finders Keepers: If a player leaves an item in your own personal chests/furnaces, you are legally allowed to keep it. However DO NOT steal from players that drop their items or are actively trading.
• Server Powered Agreements: Deals made in books will be assisted by the server (e.g., "If you get within 1k blocks of my house, you lose your armor") similar to how binding vows work in Jujutsu Kaisen.

🚫 5. MODS & CHEATING

• Banned: X-Ray (packs or mods), Kill-Aura, Fly-hacks, Minimaps with Player/Entity radar, and Auto-fishing.
• Allowed: Performance mods (Sodium/Iris), Shaders (Oculus/Distant Horizons), and Waypoints.
• Anti-Cheat: We use server-side X-Ray and cheat detection. If the system bans you, the decision is final.

💬 6. COMMUNICATION

• Respect: No slurs, racism, sexism, or targeted harassment. No real-world politics, no explicit content.
• Strike System: * Strike 1, 2: Official Warning.
  • Strike 3: Permanent Ban from Discord and Minecraft.
• These rules apply to both Text and Voice Chat inside both Minecraft and Discord.
• Structures count toward text chat within Minecraft including signs and books.

☢️ 7. EXPLOITING

• Do Your Own Research: Anything marked as an exploit is not allowed, if you're going to use a complex strategy, look-up if it is considered an exploit, if so, it's considered an exploit here as well. (p.s. if you come to me with like a single reddit post saying it's not an exploit, and if I find out with my own research that it's considered an exploit generally, this is still a rulebreak)
• Loopholes: Any attempt at trying to loophole every detail of rules is also considered a rulebreak, if you have questions; word before action, ask Deepie if it's allowed.
