the parry flash may cause some problems for photosensitive people and can't be turned off before version 1.4.1.1

Features

items

daggerlance:

• has more reach than a sword
• deals the same damage of a sword
• has a longer cooldown than a sword
• wither skeletons have a chance to spawn holding a daggerlance with a randomized skin
• from v1.2 and up killing the wither skeletons drops their daggerlance if they are killed with a netherite sword, netherite axe or a daggerlance in hand (configurable by changing the drops_daggerlance tag with a data pack) , you can turn this off by setting the requireWeaponToDropDaggerlance gamerule to false

runes: (v1.4)

• a new set of items that give daggerlances new abilities
• blank runes can be made using lancium ingots
• runes with abilities can be made by dropping a blank rune in fire with other items for them to combine into a rune with an ability
• as of now there are 2 runes, impact & feedback. impact needs a blaze rod & feedback needs a ghast tear to be thrown into fire with a blank rune

lancium: (v1.3)

• can be crafted with 4 netherite scraps and 4 obsidian
• when one of the blocks in the lancium blockset or a daggerlance is on fire they will drop lancium
• can be used to repair daggerlances

Weapon skins

the daggerlance has currently 6 skins that you can change by sneak right clicking on an anvil or smithing table

compatibility

• Arsenal - the mod is fully compatible with arsenal's back slot and weapon rack in 1.20.1 (sadly it isn't ported to 1.21.5 yet)
• Combat Amenities - the mod is fully compatible with the mod's back and belt slot in v1.3
• Backslot Mod - Compatible in 1.4.1.1+

FAQ

• What versions will it support?

  no plans to port the mod to old versions but it might get ported to the newer versions from time to time

• Does it require any additional mods?

  **Yes, This mod requires Fabric API, ChiseledLib and MidnightLib, I would recommend downloading Arsenal or Combat Amenities too

• Where can I report any issues that I have?

  You can report bugs and issues in the github page or in the discord server

• Can I modify this mod?

  No , not even if it's for personal use, tho feel free to look at the code to study how things are done. it's okay to put it in a modpack, if you want to showcase it in a video please mention the mod's name or put a link to the mod. for porting the mod get permission first from in discord
