Description

✨ (or Warrior's ✨) is a mod that aim to revert Minecraft PvP physics to pre 1.9, while still keeping the content of the Combat Update.

✨ reworks the knockback functions, and attack cooldowns to make swords and fishing rods from 1.8.9 / 1.7.10 integrate with the new axes and shields. It also tries to replicate the feel of old school PvP by changing the player's body rotation speed, and the buckets / sword animations.

This mod relies on the 1.8.9 MCP

Feature List :

• Knockback based on 1.8 mappings
• Damage calculation based on 1.8 mappings
• Fishing Rod physics based on 1.8 mappings
• Body / head rotation based on 1.8 mappings
• Working Hit and Block system (When no shield equipped) with configurable damage reduction
• Attack cooldown disabled for items, but kept for axes, maces and spears !
• Nerfed Axe damage
• Disabled Crit, Weak and Strong hit sounds
• Disabled Sweeping attacks
• Disabled Swimming Animations & mechanics
• Movement in Water is a 1:1 replica of 1.8 sources
• Disabled Waterlogging leaves, to allow MLG on trees
• Changed player's movement speed when consuming an item back to 1.8 defaults

All of these functionalities can be enabled / disabled via ✨'s config file !
