Deposit Scanner
Deposit Scanners are portable blocks you can take anywhere in the world to locate Petroleum Deposits.
Scanner in action
When you right-click, the scanner will activate and tell you which direction the closest oil wells are in and how far away they are.
Despoit Scanner charging
When provided spin (Stress Units) underneath the block, it charges the scanner's radius up to 128 chunks. Yes, even a basic crankshaft can work without issues (10 spins = 1 chunk)
Scanner Close to Oil Fields
When you get close enough to the oil fields, the scanner will pinpoint the exact coordinates of the closest Petroleum deposit.
Deposit Gauge
To see how much oil your deposit has, you can see it with the Deposit Gauge item.
Oil Fields
Oil fields are a cluster of wells consisting of 1 to 5 deposits (6 if in a desert). Filled with petroleum and surrounded by smooth basalt, you can extract the oil from the deposit through pipes using Create: Petrochem.
