[1.4.1] — 2026-04-17 — Chain Authoring Toolkit

Full in-game chain authoring: create, edit, and manage quest chains without ever touching a config file.

Added — Chain Browser (Admin)

• Admin hub → Chains tile → opens ChainBrowserGui.
• Lists all registered chains with difficulty tags, step counts, loopable status. Click any chain to edit.
• + New Chain button opens the creation wizard.

Added — Chain Creation Wizard

• Step-by-step flow (same pattern as the reward wizard):
  1. Set difficulty (Easy / Normal / Hard / Expert — click to cycle)
  2. Toggle loopable
  3. Add steps via Quest Picker — paginated browser of all quests, click to select
  4. Add chain-completion rewards via the 4-step reward wizard
  5. Click Create → saves to chains/<id>.conf and opens editor

Added — Chain Editor

• Full editing of every chain field:
  • Difficulty — click to cycle (Easy → Normal → Hard → Expert)
  • Loopable — toggle on/off
  • Icon — click to cycle common icons
  • Steps — up to 7 visible; click a step to select it, then:
    • Move Up / Move Down arrows to reorder
    • Remove Step to delete
    • + Add Step to pick a new quest from the library
  • Rewards — click to remove, + Add via reward wizard
  • Duplicate — copies to a new id
  • Delete — two-click confirm
  • Save — writes to disk + updates registry
• Live preview tile shows step count, difficulty, loopable, rewards.

Added — Quest Picker (reusable sub-GUI)

• Paginated browser of all registered quests.
• Shows quest icon, display name, id, type, category.
• Click to select → returns to the calling GUI (chain editor or wizard) with the quest added as a step.

Added — Difficulty Tags on Chains

• New difficulty field on QuestChain: "Easy" / "Normal" / "Hard" / "Expert".
• Color-coded in all GUIs: green/yellow/red/dark_red bold.
• Displayed in chain list, chain detail, chain browser, and editor.
• Persisted in chain HOCON files.

Changed — Admin Hub

• Admin hub now has 5 tiles on row 0: Quests, Chains, + New Quest, Config, and Players + Reload on row 1.
• Chain browser is a first-class admin tool alongside the quest browser.
