Major Changes
Offline Mode
Added a fully functional Offline Mode.
When enabled, AI dialogue is disabled while essential gameplay mechanics such as Pokémon actions continue to function normally.
Offline Talk Mode
Added Offline Talk Mode.
Pokémon communicate similarly to how they do in the Pokémon series, speaking through variations of their own names, for example:
Bulbasaur: Bulba... saur! (fear/intimidated)
Pokémon react differently depending on the current world context, including nearby mobs, weather, hunger, time of day, and other environmental conditions.
Occasionally, contextual status messages may also appear, informing the player about the Pokémon's current state or reaction when specific world events occur.
Memory System V2 (BETA)
The memory system has been completely redesigned.
The old memory system has been replaced with a new memory retrieval system, managed by the mod and powered by the AI.
Instead of sending every stored memory to the AI, CobbleBrain now automatically identifies and retrieves only the most relevant memories for the current conversation. This significantly reduces token usage while making Pokémon memories more reliable and context-aware.
All the memories can be acessed in the new stored_memories folder
This system is still in development and will continue to improve based on community feedback.
Mark location (Ping)
Added a new Ping system.
Players can mark a location in the world, allowing Pokémon to move toward the selected area before performing actions.
This gives players greater control over where Pokémon interact with the environment and is also required for the Teleport action, which teleports the player to the currently marked location.
Pokémon Traits & Quirks
Added Traits & Quirks, giving Pokémon more distinct personalities and recurring behaviors, it can be acessed in the stored_memories folder.
New Pokémon Actions
Added several new actions:
- Fish — Water Pokémon search nearby waters for fish and useful resources.
- Nightmare Aura — Dark Pokémon frighten nearby creatures, causing them to flee.
- Light — Electric Pokémon illuminate dark areas.
- Scout — Flying Pokémon search the surrounding area for structures and entities.
- Teleport — Psychic Pokémon teleport their trainer to the currently marked location.
