Claude Code: Rate Limited

Claude Code: Rate Limited is a Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 that introduces a completely new durability system based on Claude Code Tokens.

Instead of relying only on traditional durability, enchanted equipment has its own token pool. Every action consumes tokens, creating a new layer of resource management and strategy.

Features

Claude Code Enchantment

Three enchantment levels are available:

• Claude Code I
• Claude Code II (Pro)
• Claude Code III (Max)

Higher levels provide larger token capacities.

Token System

Every enchanted item stores its own amount of Claude Tokens.

Tokens are consumed while using the item.

Examples:

• Attacking enemies
• Receiving damage while wearing enchanted armor
• Using enchanted equipment

Each item tracks its own token count independently.

Rate Limited

When an item's token limit reaches zero:

• The item becomes Rate Limited
• It can no longer be used
• The player receives temporary negative effects
• The item must recover before becoming usable again

This mechanic encourages players to manage their equipment instead of relying on a single overpowered item.

Claude Terminal

The Claude Terminal is a special block used to recover Claude Tokens.

Players can restore enchanted items faster by spending experience levels.

The terminal includes a custom interface showing:

• Current tokens
• Maximum tokens
• Recovery progress
• Recovery status

Loot Progression

Claude Code books cannot be obtained from the Enchanting Table.

Instead, they are found naturally while exploring Minecraft structures.

Examples include:

• Dungeons
• Bastions
• End Cities

Higher enchantment levels are significantly rarer.

The mod adds its own advancement tree, including achievements for:

• Obtaining Claude Code books
• Running out of tokens
• Recovering items
• Discovering advanced mechanics

Multiplayer

The mod fully supports multiplayer and dedicated servers.

All gameplay mechanics are handled server-side to ensure proper synchronization.
