CatalystMC is a comprehensive server-side plugin designed for Paper 1.21+ servers. It introduces a high-stakes economy and combat system based on Catalysts—powerful artifacts that grant players unique abilities.
The core mechanic of this plugin is Scarcity. Unlike standard RPG plugins where everyone can max out their stats, CatalystMC enforces a strict "History" system: Specific Legendary Catalysts can only be crafted once per map. Once a player forges a Dynasty Catalyst, it is locked forever, making that item a unique artifact of immense value and power.
🌟 Key Features
The Catalyst System Catalysts are physical items (Tokens) held in your inventory that grant passive and active abilities. They are obtained through expensive, custom crafting recipes.
The "History" Mechanic (Server-Wide Limits)
This plugin features a persistent storage system that tracks the crafting history of the server.
Unique Artifacts: If a player crafts a Dynasty Tier catalyst (e.g., The Dragon), the server records this event.
The Lock: No other player can ever craft that specific catalyst again.
The Economy: This forces players to trade, fight for, or steal existing Catalysts rather than grinding for their own, driving player interaction and conflict.
⚔️ The Catalysts
Currently, the plugin supports a wide variety of playstyles, split into three tiers of rarity:
Tier 1: The Standards Berserker: For aggressive close-quarters combat.
Phantom: For mobility and escape artists.
Frostborn: Slow your enemies and control the battlefield.
Tier 2: The Advanced Static: Harness the power of lightning and speed.
Vampire: Life-steal mechanics for sustainability.
Titan: Tank-like durability for frontline defense.
Shadow: Stealth and darkness manipulation.
Pyro: Fire immunity and offensive burn damage.
Bedrocker: heavily defensive, terrain-based playstyle.
Chrono: Time manipulation and position rewinding.
Tier 3: The Dynasties (Unique Artifacts) These items have the "One Per Server" restriction.

🛠️ Technical Requirements & Installation Please ensure your server meets the following requirements before installing.
Server Software: Paper 1.21.10 (or higher).
Java Version: Java 21.
As of December 2025, no dependencies needed.
How to Install: Download the CatalystMC.jar.
Place it in your server's /plugins folder.
Ensure you have the dependencies listed above installed.
Restart your server.
Optional: Check config.yml to view the server crafting history or reset limits.
