Bovines and Buttercups is mod made with the goal of reimagining the Moobloom mob as featured in Minecraft Earth and especially in the 2020 Minecraft Mob Vote!

🐮 Bovines

Mooblooms have been given a new fresh look in this mod, along with their distant cousins the Mooshroom!
(A Built-In Resource Pack can revert their designs to Mojang's original designs)

You can find the familiar Buttercup and Pink Daisy Mooblooms spawning naturally in Flower Forest biomes! Every other variant can be discovered by breeding Mooblooms within environments that contain specific blocks.

The new Ranch structures will contain appropriate environments for specific Moobloom variants to be born in. These Ranches are biome-dependant as well, so search far and wide to find the ideal conditions for each Moobloom!

We have chosen not to implement Vanilla flower Moobloom variants in the mod by default to keep the original philosophy with the original 2020 Moobloom and Moolip introducing new flower types.

• Instead converted from any Moobloom when they are struck by lightning.

Hyacinth

• Rose Bush (Upper Half)

🌻 Buttercups

A variety of new decorative flowers are made available with giving Mooblooms bone meal!

You may use any combination of these new colourful flowers to create a fashionable Flower Crown! These can be any combination of colours depending on the flowers used in the recipe!

🍲 Nectar & Cupcakes/Tarts

A new drinkable item that can be obtained by milking any Moobloom with a bowl just like a Mooshroom! Upon drinking a bowl of Nectar, it will cause a Lockdown effect which will pause the timer or prevent the affliction of a specific potion effect depending on which Moobloom variant the Nectar came from!

Nectar can be used to create placeable Cupcakes that also grant the Lockdown effect upon being interacted with!

In addition, Mushroom and Suspicious Stews can be used to create placeable Mushroom Tarts, another new food source that may grant potion effects if Suspicious Stew is used as an ingredient!

🐝 Blossomed Friendship

When a Bee approaches a Moobloom, the Moobloom will gently lay down and allow the Bee to pollenate its flowers, and when that pollen is taken to a Beehive, the honey produced will become Rich Honey, which grants Saturation upon consumption! (Alternatively, it will grant more Honeycomb than usual)
