Bon Appétit is a mod designed to be an alternative to popular food mods like Farmer’s Delight in order to add more diversity and strategy to food.

The flavors in the mod do not give their effects by default; rather, you have to refine them into proper meals. The more complex and diverse the meal, the longer and stronger the effect.

Additionally, a majority of the effects work with each other in some way, providing even more reason to experiment with different food combinations.

Flavors

• !Cherries | Cherry:

  • Twin Strike allows all attacks made by the afflicted entity hit twice, with the second hit's power being determined by the effect potency. Has a rare chance to drop from cherry leaves.

• !Grapefruit | Grapefruit:

  • Reflection is a chance-based reflection of all projectiles back to where they came from, with the chance being determined by the effect potency. Found uncommonly hanging off shroomlights in Crimson Forests.

• !Orange | Orange:

  • Concentration gives all the afflicted entity's projectiles (besides tridents) zero gravity, and makes them critical if applicable. Velocity is determined by the effect potency. Creative-exclusive as of the latest version.

• !Lemon | Lemon:

  • Resonance takes all the afflicted entity's positive effects (besides Resonance and Dissonance) and spawns an effect cloud with those effects. This does not consume the effects, and the cloud's size aswell as lifespan is determined by the effect potency. Creative-exclusive as of the latest version.

• !Lime | Lime:

  • Dissonance takes all the afflicted entity's negative effects and spawns an effect cloud with those effects. This consumes the effects, and the cloud's size aswell as lifespan is determined by the effect potency. Creative-exclusive as of the latest version.

• !Pomegranate | Pomegranate:

  • Proliferate makes the afflicted entity give entities that they damage a stacking effect called Seeded. Once this effect stack reaches 4, an AoE explosion will be created with damage relating to Proliferate's effect potency. Creative-exclusive as of the latest version.

• !Dragon Fruit | Dragon Fruit:

  • Flak is a chance-based effect that makes the afflicted entity detonate a shrapnel bomb which releases draconic shards upon damage. The chance, draconic shard count, and draconic shard damage is determined by the effect potency. Creative-exclusive as of the latest version.
