Better Eats is a performance-focused visual overhaul for Minecraft 1.21.4-1.21.11 that fixes one of the game's oldest "clutter" issues: the intrusive eating animation.

How It Works In standard Minecraft, consuming food or potions triggers an animation that swings the item into the center of your camera, physically blocking your crosshair and a large portion of your screen.

Better Eats utilizes lightweight Mixins to intercept this animation logic. Instead of moving to the center of your face, the item remains statically rendered in its natural "held" position in the corner of your screen. You still see the particles and hear the crunching sounds, but your view remains 100% unobstructed.
