Better When Running
A stamina mod for Better than Adventure. Aims to add an implementation of sprinting that fits with the philosophy of beta 1.7.3, adding a stamina bar instead of a hunger bar. Current BTA version: 7.1-pre2a

Adds a stamina bar to Better than Adventure. This mod aims to employ an alternate implementation of sprinting that aims to be somewhat balanced.
NOTE: to sprint, the gamerule allowSprinting has to be set to true. You may also need to bind your sprint key, as it is unbound by default.
This mod works on servers, and stamina is saved in the player's NBT.
The stamina drain is somewhat unforgiving in an attempt to balance sprinting a little bit better with how mobs are in beta 1.7.3. This won't be perfect, and a buff towards mobs in general would lend itself well to sprinting in general I think. Stamina is also lost when taking damage, which I think will make running from mobs much more risky (especially in caves).
Future considerations:
- An item that permanently increases your max stamina, found in dungeons and labyrinths
- Alternate display options (no visual display, an icon instead of a bar, etc.)
- Exhaustion icon?
- Settings to customize stamina bar color
