Better than Battle Tower

About

Port of the Battle Towers mod for Better Than Adventure. While this mod is mostly a faithful recreation of the original, some features have been omitted or adapted to better fit BTA.

This mod uses a modified version of Fabric (Babric) and is designed exclusively for Better Than Adventure, a heavily modified version of Minecraft b1.7.3! For more information, join the Discord server linked on this project's page.

♜ Towers

Majestic towers can be found all across the land. Towers come in four different types:

• Battle Towers — Round and tall towers.
• Bastion Towers — Slightly smaller and more compact.
• Reverse Towers — Towers sunken into the ground.
• Vanquished Towers — Ruins of once-mighty towers, which can appear as either Battle or Bastion Towers.

Towers can be found in every Overworld biome across several world types. They are built using more than 40 different stone palettes.

These towers are a challenge to climb, as they are filled with spawners, brittle floors that are ready to give way, and plenty of loot.

Those who make it to the top can challenge the Golem.

🗿 Golems

The Golems lie dormant and only awaken when a player approaches.

While dormant, they are immune to damage, and in Peaceful difficulty, they remain dormant.

The Golem is slow but quite tough. It resists fall damage and knockback. As it loses health, it speeds up, so stay on your toes!

Once in a while, the Golem will launch itself into the sky before slamming down with devastating force. Make sure to take cover!

⬡ Blocks

Better than Battle Tower adds plenty of new blocks:

• Tinted Iron Cage — A transparent block that blocks light. It can be enabled to generate as windows in towers.
• Tinted Iron Bars — A decorative fence made from Tinted Iron Cage that also blocks light.
• Obsidian Slabs and Stairs
• Crumbling Blocks, Slabs, and Stairs — Blocks that crumble beneath the player's feet.
• Runic Stone, Pillars, Chiseled Blocks, and Glyphs — Decorative, explosion-resistant blocks used in Hardcore Towers.
• Overgrown Bricks and Blooming Overgrown Bricks — Decorative blocks found in towers.

☠️ Hardcore

For those who feel that the towers are not challenging enough, Hardcore Mode can be enabled in the config. This enables more challenging towers with deadlier traps.
