New Features
TopBoard
A new scoreboard system that includes three main leaderboard types:
- Deaths
- Top Kills
- Mob Slayer
These leaderboards will rotate and display on the sidebar automatically. In addition to that, it also introduces new display elements under player names:
- HP
- Level
These help players track key stats more intuitively during gameplay.
BedTime
This update modifies how sleeping works in Minecraft:
- Sleeping no longer skips time instantly.
- Instead, time is accelerated gradually while players sleep.
- The more players sleep, the faster the time progresses.
- When a player enters a bed, a random sleep-related message is shown in the chat.
This makes multiplayer sleeping more immersive and interactive.
Notification
A looping message system designed to send messages in the chat at fixed intervals. It can be used to:
- Remind players of important information
- Provide tips
- Display server rules or links
This ensures that key information is visible to all players over time.
Server
A set of systems to make the game feel more like a multiplayer server experience.
When a player joins:
-
A welcome message is shown with:
- Player's name
- Total playtime in this save
- Player's level and experience
- Kill/Death statistics
- Discord invite link (set using the command:
/function bmp:server/set_discord_link {invite_code:"EXAMPLE"})
If the player is joining for the first time:
- A special public announcement is broadcast to notify everyone that a new player has joined.
Warp
A new teleport request system is now available via:
/trigger bmp.warp set <id>
Where <id> refers to a player’s unique identifier, visible in the tab list.
- This command sends a warp request to the target player.
- The recipient can either accept or deny the request.
- Each request is valid for 10 seconds.
- Only the most recent request will be considered active.
This allows for controlled and consensual teleportation between players.
Player
Introduces a personal settings UI accessed with:
/trigger bmp.player
The UI contains:
- Glowing: Option to toggle glowing effects on or off.
- Particle: Choose from available particle effects (effects are unlocked through different in-game actions or criteria).
This provides players with a bit more customization and flair to their character visuals.
