This mod adds Amethyst Tools in a unique and vanilla friendly way.

This mod aims to bridge the gap between Iron and diamond by adding Amethyst as an upgrade for iron. Amethyst Tools have the same power as iron but with higher durablty.
To craft Amethyst tools two new items are needed, Sharpened Amethyst and the Amethyst Upgrade Template.
!Sharpened Amethyst crafting recipe, 2 Amethyst Shards + 1 Flint = 2 Sharpened Amethyst Sharpened Amethyst is crafted with 2 Amethyst Shards and 1 Flint for 2 pieces of Sharpened Amethyst.
Once you have Sharpened Amethyst you can take it to a smithing table alongside your iron tool and an Amethyst Upgrade Template.

Amethyst Upgrade Templates can be found naturaly inside of Mineshaft, Shipwreak, and Village chests. Once you have one you can dupicate it with 1 piece of Sharpened Amethyst and 7 iron.
