Overview

BeaconPotionPlugin adds a unique way to customize beacon effects:
Throw a splash potion with any potion effect onto a beacon, and the beacon will start giving this effect to all nearby players — just like a standard configured beacon.

The effect remains active until the beacon is broken.

Perfect for SMP servers, RPG worlds, events, and custom mechanics.

• Configure a beacon by throwing a splash potion at it
• Beacon continuously grants the potion’s effect
• Range depends on beacon pyramid level (20–50 blocks)
• Effects persist after server restart
• Visual particles when configuring a beacon
• Effect is removed automatically if the beacon is broken

How It Works

1. Build a valid beacon pyramid using iron, gold, diamond, emerald, or netherite blocks
2. Place a beacon on top
3. Brew any splash potion
4. Throw it onto the beacon (or within 3 blocks of it)
5. The beacon becomes infused and starts giving the effect to all players in range

Technical Details

• Effects are applied once per second
• Beacon data saved in:
• Automatically unregisters broken beacons
• Built for Purpur 1.21.1
• Requires Java 21

1. Download the plugin .jar
2. Place it into /plugins
3. Restart your server
