Arken
A simple mod designed for modpacks that adds a singular deepslate ore, orb that drops from it, and a block that can be crafted from the orb. Right-clicking this mystical orb has near infinite potential, and the block it creates also has unique properties.

Arken Block In The Deep Dark
Crafted from 9 Arken Orbs, this block has some very unique functionality - 1 of which is providing light equal to a redstone lamp.
Arken Block Interactions
The Arken Block will interact in some way (sometimes 1 way, or both ways, depending on the item used and placement) with the items on display - essentially a picky redstone block/glass block/lamp, also acting as a functional beacon block!

The block functions as a redstone block, providing strong output and only interacting with direct redstone application to the block itself
Arken Block Redstone Interactions #2
Direct power application to the block provided, deactivates the light and suppresses the redstone behavior for the duration that the strong signal is applied to it, allowing the torch on top to turn back on.

the block provides direct power to redstone dust, but this is a 1 way power trade, it does not turn off if redstone dust is applied to it.

The block has 0 effect on TNT, so while it does act as a redstone block - this does not have any impact on the TNT block itself.

While the block acts as a toggled redstone block, it also acts as a glass block - blocking any signal being sent through it. The lever is active, yet the redstone dust is not, how intriguing.
