Ancient Abilities

!thumbnail A Minecraft datapack that adds abilities and oaths that dramatically change how the game is played. It was made for a private SMP.

Commands

Run /trigger ancient_abilities.info in-game to view information about the datapack, how it works, and the various abilities and oaths.

Tools Used

• Visual Studio Code - IDE for writing the code
• Misode Generators - generating tiresome parts like JSON recipes and worldgen
• Minecraft Wiki - viewing game information such as effects and attributes

AI Use

Some GitHub Copilot was used to help write the function that randomly gives not-taken abilities when crafting tiered abilities.
