Alinea SMP

Alinea is a whitelisted Minecraft SMP built around one idea: players should actually run into each other. The world is small on purpose. There are no teleport commands, and a province system keeps everyone living close together, so you end up knowing your neighbours, bumping into friends on the road, and striking up conversations just by walking past someone.

Proximity voice chat

Hear people as you approach them. No need to hop into a Discord call or stop to type. It changes everything about how the game feels.

Provinces

Players live together in provinces with their own rulers, laws, and economies. Some are democracies, some are monarchies, and the politics between them happen naturally. You'll find your place.

A real economy

Every trade on Alinea is between real players. There are no admin shops and no artificial prices. Whether you want to run a shop, supply a business, or just scrape by, your time and effort have genuine value here.

Always something to work toward

We've rebalanced progression so the game doesn't end in a week. Join on day 1 or day 100 and there's always more to chase. Custom enchantments like Tree Feller and Stone Grafting add new goals, and an unstable enchanting system lets you push vanilla enchantments beyond their normal limits.

No commands, just gameplay

You won't find /tpa, /claim, or /home here. Everything is done through real gameplay, hand-crafted to be as intuitive as possible.

The community

Alinea has been running since 2020, and our players are 16+. Many have stuck around for years. This isn't a server you join for a weekend. If you're looking for somewhere people actually remember your name, this is it.
