Alex's Caves (1.21.1 Port)

Alex's Caves adds six rare cave biomes hidden deep under the Overworld, each with its own blocks, items, mobs, and mechanics: Magnetic Caves, Primordial Caves, Toxic Caves, Abyssal Chasm, Forlorn Hollows, and the Candy Cavity.

Find an Underground Cabin to get started. The loot barrels inside hold cave tablets and the Cave Compendium, an in-game guide covering everything you need to locate and explore each biome.

Every biome brings its own ambient particles, fog, brightness, and light color. Shaders can alter or wash out that look, so the mod is best played without them.

About this port

This is an independent, community/self port of Alex's Caves to Minecraft 1.21.1 on NeoForge. It is not affiliated with AlexModGuy or the original Alex's Caves team, and it is not the same project as the other unofficial port on CurseForge. It exists so the mod is playable on newer versions until an official update lands.

All credit for the original design, artwork, models, and code goes to AlexModGuy and the Alex's Caves team. Also credit to crabsatellite for a lot of the work on the 1.21.1 branch that this is built off of.
