Release1 нед. назад
Список изменений
v3.7.0
- Added a new dynamic sleeping system
- If it is currently night time and the player is sneaking while looking directly downwards, they will begin getting tired
- The screen will start flashing black as if the player was closing and re-opening their eyelids
- After ~8 seconds, the player will fall asleep on the floor
- If a player is sleeping on a floor that isn't made of wool, after a while, they will receive slowness and mining fatigue for 1 minute
- Falling asleep on the floor will allow the game to display its own sleep UI to the player
- Taking any damage while asleep on the ground will cause the player to wake up
- Dynamic sleep (sleeping on the ground) works just like it does on a bed, where time speeds up until the morning (and in case you are playing in a server, all players must be sleeping, either on the ground or on beds)
- If it is currently night time and the player is sneaking while looking directly downwards, they will begin getting tired
- Players can now create charcoal through lit campfires lacking oxygen
- Placing logs into a lit campfire and placing blocks on the sides and top of such campfire will make it so, after a while, the campfire will turn into a "large charcoal clump"
- Large charcoal clumps look like large slab-like pieces of charcoal, they are created by lit campfires that burn logs and are devoid of oxygen. When broken, they drop charcoal
- The amount of charcoal dropped by large charcoal clumps depends on how many logs the campfire held and how much fuel the campfire had
- Added a "Vanilla Wooden Axe" item to the creative inventory
- Vanilla wooden axes work the same as the vanilla wooden axe item
- This item was added due to Overly-Realistic modifying the functionality of the axes, making them incompatible with mods like World Edit. This item allows you to have all the World Edit wooden axe functionality
- Added the "Stone Ground Prop" and "Stick Ground Prop" blocks to the creative inventory
- When placed down, these blocks will create stone and stick ground props
- Added player corpses
- Player corpses are created when players die, they are displayed as player bodies on the ground. They also contain the dead player's inventory
- If the player died with items on their body and arms, those will also be displayed on the corpse
- Player corpses can despawn, and will do so after 10 minutes (whilst being in loaded chunks. This is also double the amount of time that dropped items take to despawn!)
- When player corpses despawn, they will drop bones and rotten flesh
- Interacting with a player corpse will make it so the corpse's inventory will be dropped
- Players can hit the corpse to damage it. After a while of damaging the corpse, it will be removed
- If a player damages a corpse using a tool made of stone/copper/iron, the corpse will bleed and has a chance to drop bones & human meat
- If a corpse is removed due to damage whilst the player is using any of the tool types mentioned above, the corpse's head will be dropped as an item
- If a player interacts with a corpse while being both close to the corpse and crouching, they will be able to drag the corpse to their position
- Players will no longer drop human meat and their own heads upon dying
- This can be re-enabled if the "Player Corpses" setting is disabled
- Added a death screen that is shown to players in singleplayer
- This death screen is not shown to players if they are in a multiplayer server or if either the 'Respawn Countdown' or the 'Normal Respawning' settings are enabled
- Note that multiplayer servers that have never had 2 or more players online at once are treated as singleplayer worlds
- The death screen informs players they have died and will prompt them with 2 buttons
- One of the buttons lets the player respawn in a randomized location in the world, it will also reset the time/weather, the other will set them as a ghost
- Pressing the escape key will hide the screen and set the player as a ghost
- This death screen is not shown to players if they are in a multiplayer server or if either the 'Respawn Countdown' or the 'Normal Respawning' settings are enabled
- Added a death screen that is shown to players in multiplayer
- This death screen is not shown to players if they are in a singleplayer world or if either the 'Respawn Countdown' or the 'Normal Respawning' settings are enabled
- Note that multiplayer servers that have never had 2 or more players online at once are treated as singleplayer worlds
- The death screen informs players they have died and will prompt them with 1 button, labeled "Become Ghost"
- The tooltip of this button informs the player that they can be revived by having a player use a diamond ring on another player
- This death screen is not shown to players if they are in a singleplayer world or if either the 'Respawn Countdown' or the 'Normal Respawning' settings are enabled
- Changed various aspects of the downing mechanic
- Downed players will now appear sitting, instead of laying down
- Downed players will no longer be snapped into place, they are now held down in their position properly
- The death timer display has been changed, it no longer displays ticks, instead, it will now display the countdown as minutes and seconds
- The old death timer has been split into 2: the help timer and death timer
- The death timer counts down from 2 minutes whenever the player is downed and there is nobody helping the player; it is independent from the help timer
- The help timer counts down from 1 minute whenever the player is downed and someone is helping them; it is independent from the death timer
- The death timer will not count down if the player is currently getting helped, just as the help timer is not operated if the player isn't getting any help
- If the death timer hits 0, the player will die. If the help timer hits 0, the player will be revived
- Players will now hear a special sound when dying after being downed
- Added new function tags
- '#overly_realistic:general_loops/main_401t'

- When enabled, corpses will be created whenever a player dies
- This setting is enabled by default
- Removed the '[Reset Wisdom Levels]' and '[Reset All Players' Wisdom]' buttons from the settings menu
- The settings menu is now organized with 3 vertical rows of settings instead of 2
- Players now receive a tip in chat when being downed for the first time
- Reduced the delay for getting slowed down by snow layers when walking on them without leather boots
- The root advancements' names/titles have been moved down slightly, as to fit within their tooltips
- If a player looks upwards while they are exposed to rain, they will now have their thirst slowly fill up

- Effects that stem from the sleeping mechanics are now removed when players wake up in the morning

- All food items now have extra data attached to them
- Animal corpses now have a chance of dropping 1-3 rotten flesh when despawning
- Campfire smoke particles will now only be sent to players within a 256 block distance, instead of all players in a server, independent of distance
- A '[BETA]' label is now displayed after the version in the changelogs menu
- This is done to denote that Overly-Realistic is still considered to be in beta currently!
