  • Changed the Overly-Realistic pause menu
    • Added a "Credits" button to the menu, this opens a page that displays some simple credits
    • Added a "Contact" button to the menu, this opens a page that displays my contact info and socials
    • Added a "Changelogs" button to the menu, this opens a page that displays a simplified version of the latest version's changelogs
    • Added a "Check for updates" button to the menu, this opens a page that has a button that takes you to the project's modrinth page
    • The menu's title is now "Overly-Realistic Overview" instead of "Overly-Realistic Settings Overview"
  • Added certain blocks that can only be acquired in creative mode, they are detailed below:
    • Added the "Water Block" -> Creates a water source block upon being placed
    • Added the "Lava Block" -> Creates a lava source block upon being placed
    • Added the "Powder Snow Block" -> Creates a powder snow block upon being placed
  • Raw ores now have a "quality" value
    • Raw ores can either be of "good quality" or "poor quality"
    • Crushing 4 poor quality raw ores in a mortar will allow the player to get only 1 ore fragment, however, good quality ores can output 2 ore fragments for every 4 placed
    • This system applies to all raw ores: raw copper, raw iron, and raw gold
    • Good quality raw copper can be found in biomes where the elevation is naturally high (mountains, frozen peaks, jagged peaks, meadows, cherry groves, etc)
    • Good quality raw iron can be found in cold biomes (ice spikes, snowy plains, snowy slopes, frozen rivers, etc)
    • Good quality raw gold can be found in hot biomes (badlands, deserts, savannas, jungles, etc)
    • Ores will now have their quality defined in their tooltips
  • Added the new "Natural Fibers" item
    • Harvesting short grass and tall grass blocks with knifes will now make the blocks have a chance to drop natural fibers
    • Natural fibers can be placed on wooden racks; after a while, they will turn into crude string
  • Added the new "Carrot Seeds" item
    • Similarly to other seeds, carrot seeds can be planted on farmland to grow carrots
    • Subsequently, carrots can no longer be planted into farmland
      • Note that if you have acquired carrots in previous versions, you'll still be able to use those if you so wish, though, any new carrots won't be plantable
    • Carrot seeds can drop alongside dirty carrots from carrot crops
  • Added the new "Seed Potato" item
    • This is considered a seed item, and as such, can be planted on farmland
    • Subsequently, carrots can no longer be planted into farmland
      • Note that if you have acquired potatoes in previous versions, you'll still be able to use those if you so wish, though, any new potatoes won't be plantable
    • Seed potatoes can drop alongside dirty potatoes from potato crops
  • Added more settings to the settings menu
    • Added the "Output Messages" setting, this is disabled by default and intended to be used moreso for debugging. When enabled, certain messages will appear when executing/triggering specific events
    • Added the "Overlay Messages" setting, this is enabled by default. When enabled, if the "Output Messages" is also enabled, the game will show overlaying messages in chat when executing/triggering specific events
  • Most items added by Overly Realistic can now be found in the creative mode inventory
    • Not all items are shown in the UI, most of these being variants of other, shown, items. These items will likely be supported in a later updated
  • Changed the mechanic that transforms stood-over grass/dirt into dirt/coarse dirt
    • The transformations will now happen more frequently, making it so more blocks are transformed through out the player walking around
    • The grass/dirt block under the player is no longer changed if they are crouching
    • The transformations will now only happen if the player is moving around, not if they are still
    • Grass/dirt blocks are no longer changed if the player walking over them is in creative
  • Changed the model and texture of the placed heated wrought iron as to make it look more square-like, instead of rectangular
  • Changed the variated grass surface textures
    • The textures that looked like rocks on the ground have now been replaced as to make actual rocks on the ground more visible for players
  • Players now get increased max stamina through time depending on certain wisdom skill levels
    • Certain wisdom skills such as archery, combat, mining, building, and blacksmithing will now reward players with higher max stamina increases through time
    • The amount of max stamina increased through time depends on the players' levels in these skills; higher levels increase max stamina more
  • Tweaked the dough item texture
  • Clicking on the settings menu buttons no longer sends a message in chat to the user by default
  • Clicking on the clay mold UI buttons no longer sends a message in chat to the user by default
  • Players who play without the assets required for Overly-Realistic will now be shown a warning in the actionbar
  • All torch types (torches, soul torches, copper torches, redstone torches) now stack to 50
  • Increased the entity & block reach of swords
  • Level 4+ scribery players now need to be within 16 blocks of a player for them to gain extra wisdom experience
    • Previously this was 32 blocks of range
  • Modularized wisdom experience caps
  • Changed the amount of wisdom experience needed to level up for every level
    • Level 0 -> Level 1: 500 experience
    • Level 1 -> Level 2: 1200 experience
    • Level 2 -> Level 3: 1800 experience
    • Level 3 -> Level 4: 2500 exeperience
    • Level 4 -> Level 5: 3800 experience
  • Certain items can no longer be damaged due to fire/lava, this applies to:
    • Forging plates
    • Heated wrought iron
  • Stamina genetics now vary from 40-120
    • Previously it could vary from 25-100
  • Ground props should be slightly more common now
  • Certain items now have extra data attached to them, this includes:
    • Calcite
    • Dripstone
    • All pickaxes
    • All seeds
    • All armor
  • The ladder recipe now outputs 6 ladders instead of 3
  • The amount of planks gotten from cutting stripped logs in a preparation plate is now dependent on the player's building skill
    • Bulding level 0 will make it drop 1 planks block
    • Bulding level 1+ will make it drop 2 planks block
    • Bulding level 4+ will make it drop 3 planks block
  • Bundles can now be crafted with crude string
  • Turtle eggs can now be successfully harvested without silk touch
  • Changed how tooltips are displayed
  • Chickens, parrots, pigs, and rabbits can now be bred/fed with wheat
    • (Note that this is a temporary change)
  • Decorated pots now drop themselves
  • Added additional grass block model variants
  • Optimized container position storage
  • Optimized the players' status display
  • Optimized the culling of grass block variants
  • Slightly optimized the body part hit system
  • Fixed the game playing the short fall damage sound when falling onto water
  • Fixed shields not blocking various types of damage
  • Fixed mining deepslate not being able to cause cave-ins
  • Fixed a block dupe related to the cave-in system
  • Fixed wooden racks not having certain values reset when players would remove their items
  • Fixed certain items not having proper translation keys set in the en_us lang file, this applies to:
    • All log bark items
    • Redstone gem
    • Wheat flour
    • Copper & iron knifes
    • Wooden racks
    • Crucible
    • Camel steak
    • Reinforced iron chestplate/leggings/boots
    • Dirty carrots & dirty potatoes
    • All armor
  • Fixed sometimes not being able to clean dirty crops
  • Added new advancements and changed existing advancements
    • Added the "All Natural" advancement -> Acquire natural fibers
    • Added the "Wheat Field" advancement -> Plant down wheat seeds
    • The "Crushing Realization" advancement now informs the player they can use any quality of raw copper for copper fragments
    • The "Copper Age" advancement(s) can now be acquired by getting any quality of raw copper
    • The "Copper Age" advancement(s) now inform the player about the quality of raw copper through their description(s)
